My favorite spot in Portland that I have come upon in the the two months that I have lived here is the middle of the Casco Bay. On a Ferry. Any ferry. In the daytime you can sit up top and feel the sun warm your bones while the wind whips around you. The glare on the water is beautiful; the ocean smells delicious. At night you can star gaze and drink wine out of paper cups.
